Paul Cézanne, 1839-1906, was a French artist and Post-Impressionist oil painter. As a big name French artist and Post-Impressionist painter, Paul Cezanne was important for the transition from 19th century art to 20th century art. He complimented several movements in different categories, with a very recognizable talent that showed in all of his paintings. The best Paul Cézanne works are The Card Players, Les Grandes Baigneuses, Still Life with a Curtain and Jas de Bouffan. Late in his career he worked in studio with Emile Bernard, and the place became a monument after his eventual death. This is one of the most popular monuments in the world, and more importantly, one of the most accessible from a historically beloved artist.
